This video was about how the Magna Carta was established. When King John, who was a cruel and unfair king was ruling over England a lot of people were unhappy. Some of the barons got together and decided that they would meet with king john to negotiate some rules. Those rules were later turned into the Magna Carta. The Magna Carta also inspired Thomas Jefferson when he wrote the American Declaration of Independence.

I understand that the Magna Carta influenced some of the laws we have today and if King John’s older brother hadn’t died King John would not have become King and the Magna Carta probably wouldn’t have been established.
